DESCRIPTION:Bring your favourite drink and come and connect! This session is an open session for the community\, where we can discuss any topic and just combat isolation. \nABOUT THE PROJECT \nSisters Talk are African Caribbean women’s sessions that started in 2018 in Derby. Here we explore issues around mental health\, physical health\, lifestyle\, and our community. In 2020 we also included discussions about COVID 19 effects on the community. It is a safe space to speak out\, discuss and share experiences and combat isolation\, offer peer support and discussions. \nParticipating \nThe project is created for African Caribbean women. We are creating a safe space for women of African and Caribbean heritage to discuss these topics. It is mandatory to have your camera on during the session. Spaces are limited. \nWe are currently fundraising to invite speakers to our sessions and include a variety of activities. We are keeping the space open once a month.
