SUMMARY:Year 2 & Year 6 SATs Booster Classes
DESCRIPTION:What will the classes offer? \nWe are excited to announce our SATs Booster Classes for Year 2 and Year 6 pupils\, running from February to May 2025. These sessions are designed to provide targeted support in Maths\, Reading\, and SPaG (Spelling\, Punctuation\, and Grammar) to help pupils build confidence\, strengthen key skills\, and achieve their full potential in their upcoming SATs assessments. \nWhat the Booster Classes Will Offer: \n\nFocused Revision Sessions: Tailored lessons addressing key areas of the SATs curriculum.\nSmall Group Support: Personalized attention to address individual learning needs.\nPractice with SATs Questions: Familiarisation with exam formats and question types.\nEffective Exam Strategies: Techniques to manage time\, approach questions\, and reduce exam anxiety.\nInteractive and Engaging Activities: Fun and dynamic learning tasks to maintain focus and motivation.\n\nSubject Focus: \n\nMaths: Problem-solving skills\, arithmetic fluency\, and reasoning techniques.\nReading: Comprehension strategies\, vocabulary building\, and inference skills.\nSPaG: Grammar rules\, punctuation accuracy\, spelling techniques\, and writing clarity.\n\nSupport Beyond Academics: \nWe understand that preparing for SATs can be challenging\, so our sessions will also focus on: \n\nBuilding confidence and resilience in tackling challenging tasks.\nDeveloping a growth mindset to approach assessments positively.\nProviding emotional support to reduce stress and boost self-belief.\n\n\nWho Can Join? \nClasses are open to Year 2 and Year 6 pupils who would benefit from additional support ahead of their SATs. \n(We now offer Yr 5 pre-SATs support\, following requests received) \nClasses will run between February 2025 and May 2025 in Derby (Central) \nWeekly Classes \nFrom the 25th February 2025  \n17:00 to 19:00 \nThen every following Tuesday until 6th May 2025 \n\nWe are committed to helping every pupil feel prepared\, confident\, and ready to excel in their SATs.  \nLet’s work together to make SATs success achievable! \nFeel free to come down for a chat and look around. \nPlease note: There will be a nominal fee applied to SATs Booster Classes to cover overheads (cost equates to less than £4 per class).  \n DACCI CIC are committed to delivering events and activities that enhance our community. \nPlease get in touch with us if you have any questions at info@dacci.co.uk \n\nChild Registration Form – click on link below \nhttps://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=DQSIkWdsW0yxEjajBLZtrQAAAAAAAAAAAAMAAIxXzJZUN0ZDSTZQQjQxOUNJNzU5OFRLRU0zMzBGOC4u \nParents and Guardians Terms and Conditions – click on link below \nhttps://dacci.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/SATS-booster-classes-TCs-1.pdf

DESCRIPTION:We provide SAFE ZONES to create a peaceful and welcoming environment for young people ages 11 to 17years.
