DESCRIPTION:Community Nature Wellbeing Activities\n\nAn amazing opportunity for people who love the countryside.\nOutdoor Adventures on privately owned land in the Derbyshire Dales\,\nEnjoy fun activities or simply relax in peaceful surroundings.\nSo join us and sample the idyllic Derbyshire countryside on our doorstep. \n\n…Activities include…\nBushcraft\nIncluding fire lighting/ tree and bird identification/ a walk around the site plus an intro to foraging – wild garlic\, mushrooms\, nettles\, sorrel\, etc. Finish with a hot drink around a campfire. \nGreen Woodland Workshop\nIntroduction woodworking using traditional woodland tools like a shaving horse.  You can split and cleave wood to make a simple bird box\, spoons and other items out of natural wood sourced on site. \nForest Bathing\nSlowly wonder the site\, maybe find a tree or spot you like or even hang in a hammock and take in the sounds and sense of the woodland. \nRambling\nTake a walk around the 20\,000 square metre site set in a majestic woodland. \nCooking Outdoors\nAn introduction to cooking on an open wood fire. \nChildren’s Activities\nAs above plus den making (equipment supplied). Please note children must have parental supervision. \nOrientation Games\nFind and photograph four specified objects dotted around the site\, with a map as a guide. Fun for all. \n| For all ages | Family Friendly | Transport Options Available |\n\nPlease note: \n\nActivities will start from 10:30 and finish at 14:00\nOption to stay on site until 16:30\nRefreshments provided.\nCertified instructors deliver and supervise all activities.\nEnhanced DBS and Children’s Safeguarding Policies in place\nCost are subsidised\, although a nominal fee will be charge to secure your place\n\n\nThere will be 4 taster sessions\, primarily held on a Saturday or Sunday between May ‘25 and October ’25. \nAlthough week days are available during school holidays. \n\nPlease RSVP below to register your interest. \nWe will contact you with details of dates and times. \nThankyou \nDACCI Admin Team.
