Community Nature Wellbeing Activities<\/strong><\/h1>\n

An amazing opportunity for people who love the countryside.<\/span>
\nOutdoor Adventures on privately owned land in the Derbyshire Dales,<\/span>
\nEnjoy fun activities or simply relax in peaceful surroundings.
\n<\/span>So join us and sample the idyllic Derbyshire countryside on our doorstep.<\/p>\n

Bushcraft<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Including fire lighting\/ tree and bird identification\/ a walk around the site plus an intro to foraging \u2013 wild garlic, mushrooms, nettles, sorrel, etc. Finish with a hot drink around a campfire.<\/p>\n

Green Woodland Workshop<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Introduction woodworking using traditional woodland tools like a shaving horse. \u00a0You can split and cleave wood to make a simple bird box, spoons and other items out of natural wood sourced on site.<\/p>\n

Forest Bathing<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Slowly wonder the site, maybe find a tree or spot you like or even hang in a hammock and take in the sounds and sense of the woodland.<\/p>\n

Rambling<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Take a walk around the 20,000 square metre site set in a majestic woodland.<\/p>\n

Cooking Outdoors<\/strong><\/h5>\n

An introduction to cooking on an open wood fire.<\/p>\n

Children\u2019s Activities<\/strong><\/h5>\n

As above plus den making (equipment supplied). Please note children must have parental supervision<\/u>.<\/p>\n

Orientation Games<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Find and photograph four specified objects dotted around the site, with a map as a guide. Fun for all.<\/p>\n

Please note:<\/p>\n

  • Activities will start from 10:30 and finish at 14:00<\/li>\n
  • Option to stay on site until 16:30<\/li>\n
  • Refreshments provided.<\/li>\n
  • Certified instructors deliver and supervise all activities.<\/li>\n
  • Enhanced DBS and Children’s Safeguarding Policies in place<\/li>\n
  • Cost are subsidised, although a nominal fee will be charge to secure your place<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    There will be 4 taster sessions, primarily held on a Saturday or Sunday between May \u201825 and October \u201925.<\/p>\n

    Although week days are available during school holidays.<\/p>\n
