The Fernz Foundation 3rd Charity Gym Competition

The Fernz Foundation is happy to announce our 3rd Charity Gym Competition, in memory of our beloved Christian Gordon aka Don Fernz.

This competition will be hosted back where it  began at Iron World Gym, Stanhope street, DE23 6QJ on the 4th of May 2024 at 11am.

For those of you that may not know, The Fernz foundation is focused on mental health and wellbeing, especially within black males, and we like to display the benefits of what training can do for the mind. Those of you who knew Christian understand how passionate he was about weight training and fitness. As a result, it is only right we use this aspect of his life to bring awareness to this cause.

Let’s make this competition another one to remember, so bring that same great energy and good competitive vibes. Entry will close on the evening of Friday 3rd May so we can deal with the order of the day. If you arrive on the day to take part, but you have not registered, there will be a late joining fee. Spectators of all ages also welcome parking will be available next door at the Indian community centre.
